Here are a few places that I love to buy crystals, as I can’t get to in person, to shops. If you possibly can, I would recommend going somewhere to meet your crystal in person. Each crystal is an individual and have their own energies and personalities. I do resonate with the idea that crystals choose us, rather than us choosing them. I have also included useful things to know before you buy, so you can understand the different terms used. The list of shops is lower on the page.

Things to know before you buy crystals in general and especially online
If you do buy online here are a few things to be aware of, look out for or ask the seller before you press th ‘buy’ button.
- Is the crystal in the picture the one I will be sent? Be sure to check that the crystal you buy will be the one shown in the picture. Sometimes it is, sometimes its not.
- Is the crystal natural or man made? The crystal world creates some wonderful crystals all by itself but some are also created or altered after they leave the earth. Some are dyed a different colour, others have been through a heating process that changes their colour, others like the aura crystals have been electrically charged and had gold sprayed on them.
- Delivery charges. If you are buying from a different country, please remember that when it gets to you there will be local taxes to pay (import fees) and who ever collects those can also had a collection fee. Crystals are heavy so shipping for them can often be expensive. Some crystals are also very delicate so be sure to check a sellers feedback to see other buyers have recieved theirs well packaged.
Care instructions for your crystal.
Research this before you subject your lovely new crystal to something that may damage it. Lots of people like to cleanse their crystals before using them. But please before you do, reasearch what your crytal can handle.
Often we are told to cleanse our crystals in running water, burying them in the earth and so on but not all crystals are stable enough for this process. Selanite for exaple if exposed to water will disolve! This is true of other crystals too. Check online, or with a detailed crystal book, to see what is safe for the crystal you have. Please visit the crystal book page for the reference book I use, as this describes how hard, soft each crystal is and if its safe to expose it to water. Bear in mind that if you leave your crystal is left outside overnight this can include, rain, mist, dew, frost, snow and so on.
The light of the full moon (indoors on a windowsil or bed) is how I cleanse mine and I also use sound, tingsha bells or Koshi Chimes.
Different forms of crystal
Raw crystals are those which have not been polished after they are removed from the earth
Tumblestones. These are crystals that have been through a process that creates a smooth outer surface like you would find on a pebble on the beach. These can vary in size, technically its refereing to the polishing process but often online this is used to refer to the smaller crystals, so check the size before you buy. What looks large, might be zoomed in on a very small crystal.
Thumb stones and palm stones: These are often polished/tumblestones but they have a flat surface which makes them comfortable to hold in your hand for meditation.

- Aluna Elixia Hand made and hoistic candles, lotions potions, crystals, spiritual, vegan, witchy bits. I have a room spray from them and its amazing. Lovely people, do visit them.
- Crystals of the Moon UK shop, another wonderful soul, do chek them out.
- Reiju Reiki charged crstals and gemstones. Previously known as Krystal gifts.co.uk
- Tamed Wild this store also has a UK site and one in Canada which can be found from the home paged listed above
- Crazicarmascrystals on Eby, still trying to spell this right to find her again. Lovely soul, I just keep forgetting how to spell it.
- Clickkassbian Donna’s wonderful Ebay crystal shop. Superb crystals and really well packed.
- Past Impressions Crystals. Another ebay shop that’s a great place to buy crystals.
